UDF: Plain, VAT or Spared?

Recommended Posts

I am considering using CDBXP for DATA backup and archiving, but before I come to installing CDBXP I got a few questions. What are the builds in UDF? Are those Plain, VAT or Spared? And how can one choose the build? Are there any tabs of buttons to choose the build from? Is there anything on your website about Plain, VAT or Spared in UDF? I haven't found anything on your site, may I overlooked it.

I'm working on WindowsXP SP3 and I'm looking for a driver/burner that makes a DVD+-RW appear like an external HD or USB memory stick in the Windows Explorer so that I can drag and drop files and folders onto the (UDF)DVD.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Disk_Format for any info on UDF builds.

regards, Johan
