Using CdBurner to burn a bootable HP Bios update

Recommended Posts

:) I Have a HP A6437C VISTA 64 Bit slimline desktop with a Foxconn mATX board & need to create a BartPE bootable cd & then burn using CDBurnerXP. I want to use my working WXP PROpc & perform it in a MsDos environment unless there is anther way to do it. My motherboard has no vgt (goes into power save mode),mouse, keyboard, usb or sound response. Cpu fan spinning & psu working fine with power to all the hardware psu & power button on front stay lit. Did everything possible testing this board, even removed the board from chassis. I've done it all!! Replaced the bios chip as well. So you see I cannot access the floppy port on the board to use a external floppy drive to make a bootable floppy disk. The file is 2.20 mb's.Too large to fit on one 1.44 mb floppy. This is a update file to see if it will correct my issue to see if it will boot to the Awards bios. This is my last resort in testing the board before committing to purchasing another board. I'm thinking the board might be fried but have to try this last resort. Thanks for any support. David :)
