data disc - no compatible drives

I have install cdburnerXP v4.2.7.1801

my drives is " optiarc dvd rw ad-7581s ".

for use audio disc, burn iso image, cd copy all are ok, no drives problem.

but if I use data disc, at target device, it come up " no compatible drives ".

have any person can help me.!

Ich habe das gleiche Problem aber mit meinem MATSHITA Laufwerk (Sony-Vaio). √úberall im Programm wird das Laufwerk erkannt nur nicht wenn ich Daten zusammenstellen will, wird das Laufwerk nicht erkannt.

Kann jemand helfen????

I loaded 4.2.7.1801 and it found no compatible drives. I am using Vista, with TSST corp DVD+RW TS-T633A ATA device

I've the same problem as the other guys in this discussion thread. Everything is fine for burning audio discs or ISO files, but as soon as I select data disc no drive is found.

The curious thing about that is, that this defect appears on two different PCs with different DVD drives. Booth PCs are running Windows 7 (one with 32 bit the other with 64 bit). For that I assume that this problem is not related to the DVD drives.

My CDBurnerXP version is 4.2.7.1801.

Can anybody give us some advice what might be wrong here?

Installing "Intel Matrix Storage Manager" solved the problem for me as well! It seems to be somehow AHCI related ...
