My cd player says there is no disk present

Recommended Posts

I downloaded some christmas music here

http://www.sendspace.com/file/05zhvc

I converted them and burned them to a cdr, but they won't play on my cd player.

They will play on my computers though.

My cd player will play the other cds I have burned with CDBurner.

Are they Itunes specific so they won't play? Is there some specific method of burning that I need to use?

Any advice you can give me will be appreciated. Thank you :)

I looked through the faq and didn't see this problem mentioned, and I am not sure whether this is a bug or a compatibility problem.

Yes they were burned as audio cds. I re-burned one of them just to make sure that I hadn't gone into the program incorrectly. It still reads no disk on the cd player.

I don't think the problem has anything to do with Itunes now because I read on this forum that Itunes uses special files, not mp3s. I am attaching a screen cap to show that they are mp3 files. I looked at the properties on the files and there is nothing in there to suggest they are any different than regular mp3s.

ETA: These files were burned to cd rw disks, not the cd r disks I had success with. Do i need to burn cd rw disks differently then cd r disks?
