Crash when copying an Audio CD

Recommended Posts

Hi guys. I googled and searched this forum but I couldn't seem to find a solution to this, or even someone with the same problem. So here it is.

I'm running CDBurnerXP on Win7 64-bit. Every time I try to copy an audio CD, CDBurnerXP reads the whole disk and then asks for a blank media. Right after I put it in and click Refresh, CDBurnerXP crashes badly and my burner simply disappears - I can't find it anymore under Windows Explorer or the Device Manager, no joke. After that I have to reboot to gain access to it again.

The other burning functions on CDBurnerXP are working fine, and this problem has been happening for quite a while now, even with older versions of CDBurnerXP. Any ideas on what might be going on? I can provide the CDBurnerXP log if needed.
