Bug with LG GH22NS in Win7 x64

Recommended Posts

I install Windows 7 x64 and now I have bug with my DVD-recorder (LG GH22NS). CD Burner XP now has write ISO-files without any bugs, but if I try to create new Data-disk, programm can't find my record-device (see screenshot in attachment).

I've got exactly the same problem under Vista64 HomePremium. Why does the standard windows burning function work while cdburnerxp doesn't?

I do experience the same problem with a matshita drive.

a data disk does not find any drive, while an audio disk does find it

Windows 7 64 bit

I also have this problem, and just a note that it extends into all burning software I have thrown at it. I'm at a loss.

Firmware flash fails for my GH22LS50 (TL02 FW). It won't allow a flash. I'm running Win7 Ultimate (released version) 64-bit. Windows reports constantly that the device's driver wasn't installed correctly, yet the drive works and Nero 7 sees it correctly. This LG drive is the only one I've ever seen that Win can't recognize properly. I don't know who I want to hurt - Bill Gates or LG .....

Hello

when you're motherboard BIOS is set to "AHCI SATA" and your OS is Windows 7 x64 CD Burner do not work with many lg dvdrw and probably others

if you turn your motherboard bios in old mode "IDE Native" cd burner works fine

i think this is an cd burner xp limitation/bug

If I turn off ACHI, my LG drive don't work in Win7 (nor read/write any disks).

CD Burner has write iso-files on this LG drive. But it can't see drive in data-write mode. Imho, it's bug (CD Burner has use two algoritms ti detect drives? One in iso-write mode has work good, but another - in data-write mode - has not work with some LG drives)

I will say i managed to use LG`s own tool to burn my avi data disk but still to trial on DVD player, also the number of views says enough in itself ....

Hopefully this can be sorted.... cdburner xp is a great stable burning software...

Currently, Windows7 64 bit Home version, LG GH22NS.... Syptoms as above

Hey,

i've got the same problem.

The drive is detected when switching from AHCI to IDE in BIOS (Board Asus P8P67), but that affects other programms' stability. So that's not really a solution^^

Installing Intel Matrix Storage Manager or so hasn't work out as well.

Any other suggestions?
