[C] Error when copying disk to .mds format

Recommended Posts

Hi,

The only problem that I have with the program are when I try to copy an existing DVD-R or DVD+R to an image .mds, I have an error all the time : unreadable sector at the position (number). This error occurs with any DVD I have. I tried with another computer and the same error occurs. If I try to copy to an image .iso, I don't have an error.

I think the image .mds is usable but why this message appears every time ? Try to copy a DVD to .mds because I am sure you will also get the same message.

In my case, the message appears in a computer with a Pioneer Burner in IDE , a computer with a Liteon burner in IDE and a computer with a LG burner in Sata.

Finally, the problem is not solved.

I make a test with a original Windows Vista dvd and I get the error. I know there is no protection on the dvd.

I'll put the log if it helps:

Copy to .mds ---> result: unable to read the sector 1835119
