Random crash while using command line

Recommended Posts

I have faced with the following issue:

if I try to write a CD by using the command line tool I face random computer crashes. When I say crash I mean the computer resets completely and starts rebooting. It happens without displaying any error messages and I can not see any pattern which causes the problem (in fact I always perform the same operation: eject, load, burn, eject)

If it happens it always happens before the writing operation begins and the CD itself remains empty.

I can not confirm if the same problem exists with the GUI since I have never used it.

I use WindowsXP and CDburnerXP

please let me know if this is a known issue and if it has a solution!

It could be, we investigate this possibility as well. However once I was able to catch a blue screen of death for a friction of a second before my PC restarted. This indicates a problem different than a power supply. I am not suggesting that the problem is caused by cdburnerxp, I am just wondering if anybody have ever faced with an issue like this. I keep you guys updated! Thx!
