Admin install VS Users Install: PROBLEM

Recommended Posts

I am working on a big company and need to deploy CD Burner for my Users.

I use an original MSI (from your web site) and install it with my admin account. Then, logout and login with the User account. And at this point, the user cannot use CD Burner, because at the first launch, it need to connect where the MSI is to finalise the installation. So, installation finaly fails.

I trail to use the following cmd line, but it fails too:

msiexec -i "cdbxp_setup_4.2.7.1849.msi" ALL USERS=1 /qn

But same problem.

How can I finalise the user installation correctly without need the MSI? I have more than 500 install to do and it is not possible to copy locally the msi on each PC.

Thank you in advance, best regards!
