DoctorUltra Report Share Posted September 23, 2010 Hello, my dvdrw device is not supported from cdburner xp, i have a samsung SH-S223C. will be supported in the future? Thanks
Guest Araldo Report Share Posted September 30, 2010 It is(!) supported. You have to install the proper chipset or SATA driver (i.e. Intel Matrix Storage or Intel RST Rapid Storage or something else that fits your mainboard). Drawback: You can only burn at highest speed, there is no speed selection with this drive from CDBurnerXP, see here: http://forum.cdburnerxp.se/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=9105

Guest kevinw Report Share Posted October 14, 2010 Intel Matrix driver makes my PC unstable. Why can't the program see the drive as it is now like Nero and others can?

Guest AHCI Win7pro 64bit now working Report Share Posted December 9, 2010 Had to download and install the "Intel Rapid Storage Technology"(iata96enu.exe) driver which also improves the eSata detection. This was not installed by default using the Intel mainboard driver CD but is required as per the CDburnerXP troubleshooting guide and the Intel description states "It also provides AHCI support...". http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchR ... %AE+RST%29 http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_ ... 9〈=eng Intel DP55KG is a 5 series board and the "Intel Rapid Storage Technology" download appears to be the new name for "Intel Matrix Storage Manager" as they both add more Sata and AHCI support. AHCI Windows 7 pro 64bit now is detected. FYI, nero and Burn Pro both detected the Samsung TSST SH-S223C fine before installing the "Intel Rapid Storage Technology"(iata96enu.exe) driver. Adgarharrison Report Share Posted October 5, 2011 Hi, you shouldn't have to install any SATA drivers, the motherboard takes care of that. Take a look in the BIOS and under advanced you should be able to see the motherboard settings for the drives. Make sure that cell phone spy the board is set to use ENHANCED settings and not LEGACY, then go to the BOOT section and make sure the SATA drive is the first drive. Find the setting for Plug and Play operating system elswhere in the BIOS and make sure this is set to NO.
