Improper Automatic Shutdown Operations [fixed]

Recommended Posts

When requesting to shutdown the PC after burning a DVD disc, CDBurnerXP Pro fails to properly shutdown the PC.

I am running Windows 2000 SP4 and CDBrunerXP Pro 3.0.113.

When I request to burn the data on a blank DVD disk, CDBurnerXP Pro displays the "Write CD/DVD" dialog. In this dialog, I check "Automatically Shut Down The PC When Done", then I press the "Write Disc" button.

After the burning is completed, Windows displays the message "You can safely shutdown your computer" (or something close).

The computer should have shutted down automatically.

Not only that, but when I restart the computer, I encounter problems. Up to now, the problems were:

- Corrupted Active Directory components, or

- The PC could not properly launch Windows (in this last case, I had to cut the power from the PC, and Windows was able to start normally)

Note: The bug was present in the 3.0.109 version
