Video DVD with cdbxpcmd.exe

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I tried to burn some Video DVD's that I have create with dvdauthor using a batch file. It does not work properly. The DVD looks fine it it contains all files that I expect. But my standalone DVD players detect the media as a Data disc instead of a Video-DVD disc. However, programs like Mplayer accept the media when I open it as a Video-DVD.

The command-line is:

c:\whatever\cdbxpcmd.exe --burn-data -close -eject -folder[video_TS]:VIDEO_TS -folder[AUDIO_TS]:AUDIO_TS

How can I fix this?

I noticed that Windows Media Center locks files when I create my DVD files (VIDEO_TS folder) under "d:\recoded tv". However, the main problem (cannot playback the DVD) still occurs when I create it somewhere else.
