Trying to use CDBurnerXP but I have no compatible drives. I have a Lenovo T500 laptop with a Optiarc DVD RW AD-7910S ATA Device. I am logged on as administrator. I tried the help. It recommends one try Nero Burn rights or Intel Matrix Storage Manager. I got there and woh. I don't know what they are talking about. Can anybody help me?

I've had this problem for 2 days now, trying everything to my knowledge about computers and googling.

I'm trying to install Win 7 on my secondary drive.

When setup is starting cell phone spyware neither my primary drive nor my secondary drive is detected in the custom installation option.

OS is XP-32

Mobo is GA-P35-DS3L - Gigabyte

Main hdd is WD1600AAJS - 160GB SATA Western Digital

Secondary hdd is ST3160815A - 160GB PATA Seagate

People on forums have mention several times RAID, SATA drives, controllers, chipsets, bios settings and whatnot and honestly I dont know anything about that.

If anyone could give me a little help on how I can get the drives to appear, It would be very appreciated.

Benutze Plextor PX-L890SA mit ASUS F1A57-I

unter WIN7 32bit funktionierte der Brenner einwandfrei

unter WIN7 64 bit wurde kein kompatibles Laufwerk gefunden

Folgendes hat bei mir funktioniert:

1.) Habe die aktuellste Catalyst Treiber installiert

2.) im Gerätemanager den Treiber deinstalliert

3.) anschliessend neu gestartet. Windows installierte neue Treiber und CDBurnerXP brennt nun auch

unter 64bit im AHCI Modus die Rohlinge
