Error @DriverScanner 2011

Recommended Posts

Guest josef

Hi,

I have a problem when I install the CDBrunerXP 4.3.8.2568. The Setup Routine shows me at the installation process the following error mesage:

"DriverScanner 2011 - Empfohlen von CDBrunerXP

Es ist ein kritischer Fehler aufgetretenInstallation von DiverScanner 2011 wird abgebrochen.

Powerd by OpenCandy"

I can only close this window. CDBurnerXP was not installed.

What does the DriverScanner at youre nice CDBurnerXP?

My System: Win7 64bit.

Regard, Josef!

Are you sure that CDBurnerXP is not installed? The installation of CDBurnerXP should remain unaffected by installation of third party software (which you chose to install during setup of CDBurnerXP). Anyway, just running the setup again should work. Feel free to not install the optional DriverScanner software or whatever is recommended to you, it's not required for the functionality of CDBurnerXP (and does not suggest that).

Hi, thanks for your reply!

The Problem is that I will create a package for an automatic internal software distribution.

For this job I must start the setup with the following settings. (Silent and without Third party software)

My opinion is, third party software must deselect at default, but this must configured from the developer vom CDBurnerXP.

Is it possible to script the installation routine for an automatic software distribution?

Regard, Josef

Hi Flo,

YEAH!

I found at the download page unter "More download options" the Version without the third party software OpenCandy (DriverScanner).

Thanks!

Josef

Keep in mind though, that no third party software will be installed if you run the installer in an automated fashion (that is, silent without GUI). So for silent setups, it shouldn't matter which installer is being used.
