CD is "Unrecognized "

Recommended Posts

it seems, that the problem is caused by the CD-Burner (or my Computer System).

I tested CDBurnerXP Pro on my old Desktop with an SCSI Plextor Burner and it worked well with these Audio-CDs, which had the depicted problem.

So, the "bad boy" is my new Notebook (Toshiba Satelite M30 951) or the build-in

drive, a Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-820S 1.00.

Do you have some information, if these "Super-Combi-Drives", generally, have some limitations (e.g. DVD-Region Codes) or if the RAM-Mode Driver, that was pre-installed,

makes some problems??

Usually they don't...but sometimes they do of course. I don't think there is any particular drive type which causes problems very often. But it is always good to know that software is not the problem...but did you try using the drive with other programs?
