Ambit Energy Report Share Posted November 1, 2011 Does CDBurnerXP support or compatible Windows 7? Just asking before I install it my computer. John Galt Ambit Energy, Sales Consultant St. Louis, Missouri
floele Report Share Posted November 1, 2011 Yep, though you could get an issue if AHCI is enabled (often the case in Win7 computers), see viewtopic.php?f=14&t=9054 for details.
Joey Report Share Posted November 2, 2011 It should work. Windows 7 offers both 32 bit and 64 bit support.
Guest Candy Report Share Posted February 27, 2012 CD BurnerXP worked for me in Windows7 64-bit with this easy fix: Right-click on the CD BurnerXP icon on your desktop, choose Compatibility, check-mark "Run this program in compatibility mode for" on drop-down list select "Windows XP (Service Pack 2) click OK. When you open the burner it will run in the Windows XP mode - it solved my problems - period!
floele Report Share Posted February 28, 2012 It should run without compatibility mode actually. Don't know of any specific issues with Win7.
