Check files before burning

Recommended Posts

Hello,

it happened to me a few times that I had already prepared a compilation

(within a second instance of CDBurnerXP) to start the burning process

as soon as burning the previous disk ends. However, in the meantime I

accidentally moved the files to another folder or removed the source USB

drive. When the missing file is reached, the burning process stops and

CDBurnerXP is not responding any more. Of course, the disc is broken

afterwards.

It would be nice if CDBurnerXP would recheck if the files to be burned

are still available before starting the burning process (and ideally lock

the files). Another possibility would be to simply skip the missing file.

However, at the moment CDBurnerXP crashes... Thank you in advance!

Alex

Normally a window opens, when you open a saved compilation, and files are missing. Did this not happen with your compilation? Otherwise, you can update a compilation with Edit/Update compilation.

He's referring to the issue of removed files *while* creating the compilation, and not after that. Future versions of CDBXP should certainly behave differently, needs to be considered for 4.5.

I do find the Edit/Update bottom (CDBurner 4.4.0.2905 - french)
