[C] Drag and Drop always drops file on root

Recommended Posts

Installed cdbxp_setup_4.0.022.370.exe on WinXP SP2.

Trying to add files to a DVD with existing folders and files.

Dragging a file from a harddisk folder (upper part) and dropping it on a folder of the CD/DVD (lower part) does not add this file to the selected folder but to the root folder of the CD/DVD.

Also: dropping into the file area of an opended CD/DVD folder copies the file to root.

Same.

For now I've found the following workarround:

1. Manually create subfolder on CD/DVD (lower part) and select it

2. Select files and/or folders on HDD panel (upper-right part) with Ctrl/Shift keys

3. Press "+ Add" (lower part) button.

Files would be added to the new created folder on CD/DVD ;)

I also have this problem. Will this bug be fixed in the next version?

I can't use the workaround suggested here since I have another bug in Vista hiding the Computer icon so I don't have any harddisk folders at the upper part :o
