Copy DVD-Video to disk image as a .mds file

Recommended Posts

I am able to copy DVDs made on my home DVD/VHS deck to a .mds file, but when I try to burn a new DVD using the .mds file, it says that my burner doesn't support SOA.

Am I doing something wrong. I am able to copy the disk directly to another disk, and that works.

I would like to keep an archive copy on me hard-drive, and use it to make additional copies for other people.

The DVDs are not commercial encrypted.
