Hi All,

I have movies on 4mm tape in my JVC GR-DX77U Cam Corder. It has

on Firewire interface, which my computer also has. When I plug in

the camera, I get an "AVC Compliant DV Camcorder" device in my

Windows (XP) Explorer.

How do I go about getting these movies off of tape and on to

a DVD-R? How do I read a "AVC Compliant DV Camcorder?"

Many thanks,

You need a video capturig software, for example Pinacle Video Studio. I don't know at the moment if VirtualDub can handle this (freeware) but you might have a try. After you captured the video, you can follow the Video-DVD Tutorial in online helpfile. See also Sticky Topic.
