CDburnerxp says: 23867 < 23866 BlueRay not big enough

Recommended Posts

I want to burn a (single layer) BlueRay with CDBurnerXP and UDF file system.

After having dropped 16 items onto the compilation pane and starting the burn process CDburnerXP tells me

Required 23867,38 MB media

Present 23866,00 MB

See attached snaphot.

Hmm, the data stuff should fit on the blueray media.

If it is because some additional UDF management information must be put on the disc:

How many bytes do I have to subtract from the official max capacity

25025314816 bytes

to get the real usable capacity of a single layer BlueRay media?

The number of usable bytes varies on the number of files and probably a few other factors. ~1,4MB is the minimum amount of bytes that are substracted from the full capacity.
