I recently purchased a HP model p6-2133w PC running Win7-64bit. I have the latest CDBurnerXP version 4.4.1 but it will not recognize the factory installed DVD Drive. The Device Manager lists the device as "HP DVD RW AD-7250H5 SATA CDROM Device." I have checked and have the latest driver installed.

I did note that the list of compatible devices shows 2 "Optiarc AD-7250H" devices, and that may be what this device actually is, but CDBurnerXP does not recognize it by its "HP" label.

Windows Media Player as well as several other bruner programs I have tried are able to recognize it.

I keep checking for a later version of CDBurnerXP to see if one will come along that will resole this issue, but so far that hasn't happened.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
