Burning Error

Recommended Posts

CDBurnerXP ( works fine with most media (DVDs, normal Audio CD burning etc.), but the following Error occors and the burning process of data discs stops when using normal CD-Roms (different brands):

"Burning error occurred

An erro occurred while burning the disc. Most likely the disc is not usable. Usually, these erros happen if the inserted media is not compatible to the drive or of poor quality.

(devIllegalModForTrack) Could not write to Disc (LBA: 650 Length: 26).

Illegal Mode For This Track. -0x056400"

(See screenshot JPG added).

The PC is a Win7 i7 with a Pioneer BD-Rom BDC-TD03 (appears on the compatibility list). The driver of the burner is up to date.

Any idea, whats happening here?

Thanks a lot for help.

Hello floele,

thanks a lot for the help. In fact, installation of the new beta version (I installed the 64 bit version, installation file "cdbxp_setup_4.5.0.3600_x64.exe") now allows burning of normal data CDs.

I very much appreciate the help.

Best wishes to all.

I also am getting a similar error I am using the following product

Verbatim CD-R 52x 700MB/80min, 50-Pack Spindle

When I tried to burn the CD I got this error

(devInvalidFieldInCDB) Could not write to Disc (LBA: 11414 Length; 0). Invalid Field In CDB - 0x052400

So I placed another CD that I new was new and performed a DISC Information check and this is What I got.

CDBurnerXP doesen't recognize this type of CD? Anyway I can fix this?
