Hi there,

I have troubles using CDBurnerXP on an ASUS notebook with a HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT51N drive installed.

The drive is recognized, but access to/reading from the CD/DVD within CDBurnerXP is very, very, very slow and annoying. It sounds as if the head of the drive is continously moving for- and backward. Writing is also very slow (no matter if I try to copy a CD or create a data disc).

Other burning software works fine with the installed drive so it's obviously no hardware defect.

Anyone of you who had similar troubles and were able to fix it?

Thanky you!
