command line parameters for gui-version

Recommended Posts

The first 4.5 beta AFAIR had the feature to go directly to the data-burn-mode if a folder was added as first (and only) parameter.

For example:

C:\CDBurnerXP\cdbxpp.exe D:\Folder_with_Data_to_burn

With 4.5 final doing this shows only the small selector window (data, video, audio, iso copy, erase) and after selecting "data" errormessage "Illegal characters in path" appears.

The explorer-tree in top-left corner shows the path form UserSettings.ini - Section [Data], Key DataExplorerPath.

As a workaround I set the DataExplorerPath-value in UserSettings.ini before starting cdbxpp.exe

Content of "...\AppData\Roaming\Canneverbe Limited\CDBurnerXP\Errors.log"

15.12.2012 14:42:23 (CDBurnerXP): System.ArgumentException: Illegales Zeichen im Pfad.

bei System.IO.Path.CheckInvalidPathChars(String path)

bei System.IO.Path.GetExtension(String path)

bei CDBurnerXP_Pro.modMain.LauchAfterAssemblyCheck(String[] args)

bei CDBurnerXP_Pro.modMain.Main(String[] args)

C:\CDBurnerXP\cdbxpp.exe /od D:\Folder_with_Data_to_burn

or

C:\CDBurnerXP\cdbxpp.exe /od D:\Folder_with_Data_to_burn\

takes me directly to the data-burn-window (no error messages) but does not select the (of course existing) folder.

Together with my write-to-ini-trick I can now call CDBurnerXP from TotalCMD to burn the actual selected folder.

Thank you for the "/od" hint.
