MP3s No longer play in Vehicle

Recommended Posts

After downloading the latest version I found that after creating an MP3 disc my late model chevy truck would no longer recognize the disc even though before this it worked fine before. After creating and throwing away about 5 discs I had to resort to Windows Media Player.

I have since loaded Windows 7 Ultimate 64 and still the same issue.

Any ideas? Or have some setting changed?

Me too. I had to go back to an old version (4.4) of the software to get it to work again.

So I'm not alone. I've wasted about 5 CDs, and then finally figured out it was the CD Burner Update. I have a 2008 Prius and MP3 data dics do not work. I'm going to try the Joliet file system. Hopefully that resolves it.

I'm having the same issue.. My 2 different Alpine systems for both cars have failed to recognize the new CD's .. If I use the Joliet format, will I loose my access to my CDburnerXP .dxp library of CD song selections that I have built over 2 years?

OK.. Thanks for the blog..

1. Open the Data Disc page, open my existing .dxp music selection file.. Then save it as an ISO file..

2. Navigate to the front page again - select Burn ISO file..

Worked fine and plays great on my alpine system in my car..

Happy again
