Question regarding FLAC and WAV burning.

Recommended Posts

Hi, I use dbpoweramp to convert 16/44 aif files from my recorder to 16/44 wav.  dbPoweramp Batch Converter allows tags with wav.  When I add them, the bitrate listed in cdburnerxp is slightly above 1411.  The Redbook CD I burn seems to work in my cd player from the 1990's and new blueray player, but is there a reason I should avoid the wav version with tags from dbpoweramp.  Why are the bitrates higher?  Thanks, Stephanie

I don't know why they would be higher (ask dbPoweramp?), I can only tell you that CDBurnerXP converts anything to the appropriate format before burning so you don't have to worry about that.
