Songtitles not on CD

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have now made at least 8 copies of a downloaded album and what I do or what I try, the songtitles are not shown on the burned CD, although it shows all the songtitles, album name and so on. The burned CD only shows track01.cda etc. However, if I burn mp3 songs instead, all the songtitles are shown. Don't ask me why!

Can someone please explain to me why this happens. I tried it with windows media player, imageburn and other programs and than I read an article that CDBurnerXP did not have those problems. Well, it does!!

Working with ASUS K536, Windows 7 (64) Home edition, CDBurnerXP 4.5.2.4367 (downloaded from your forum based on a similar topic? Burnspeed 24x(4.234 KB/s). See also enclosed pictures.

Hope to hear from you

If you insert the CD into your computer, the tracks will always be displayed as track*.cda. I am not aware of CD-Text support in Windows by default. You can insert the disc into a CD-Text compatible CD player though to see the track data.
