LG GGW-H20L burning error 0x80040275

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

possibly that errormessage is described very often but i couldn't find a satisfiing solvation for my problem. I tried the drive on a new, clean freshly setup Win XP SP3 system and on my own System.

Additionally i tried a different Drive and make a guess . . . .  the exactly same result.

Here my system configuration (short):

CPU: Core i7 2600k

RAM: 16GB Corsair Memmory

Mainboard: ASUS Maximus V Extreme

Blu-ray Drive: GGW-H20L Firmware: YL05 (YL07 -> same problem persists)      The external Drive i used for my tests is a SAMSUNG SE-506 F/W:TS00

HDD: 2x Hitachi 2TB 7500 RPM

GPU: Geforce 550Ti PNY

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Burning Software: CDBurnerXP 4.5.3.4643 and ImgBurn 2.5.8.0

I also use DaemonTools Pro 4.4

Help will be appreciated

Martin

Hello again,

forgot to mention that i don't have problems burning CD-R 700 (Platinum) and ISO-images (using ImgBurn).  The Problem is only if i try to Burn my own Datacompilations

(DVD+R (Platinum) as well as BD-R (Verbatim)).

To describe my Problem a little more specific. The files i try to burn are of different size as the original ones (if the source-file is 6,89Gb it is only 2,6Gb on the media)

which causes problems verifiing the files after the burning process.

If more info is needed, just tell me.

Martin
